Six Sentence Sunday

Continuing on with the ongoing saga between Sam and Shadow:

"Mom says I'll catch fire one day for all the sparks flying off me," I deadpanned. "So what brings you by tonight?" I waved congenially to the last of the tourists leaving for the night until it was just me and Shadow. Elena and Stetson had sure as hell been gone for awhile.

"I can't just stop in for a beer?"

"Honey, your kind never just stops in for something."

(I promise Shadow's not as much of an ass as he came off to be last week. LOL)
