Six Sentence Sunday

“Hey,” she replied, trailing off when she couldn’t bring his name to mind. “How’ve you been?” Nervous, Adelaide adjusted her glasses and tucked her hair behind her ears. It wasn’t everyday a Congressman’s assistant spoke to a lowly paralegal at Capitol Hill.

Great six, Lindsay! I felt her nervousness, and could tell she was somewhat of a nerd all in those few sentences!
