Six Sentence Sunday

Picking up from where we left off before I forgot to sign up for this lovely little list. LOL


Rain poured down the window to her left. “Hey,” he said with an enthusiastic smile.


“Hey,” she replied, trailing off when she couldn’t bring his name to mind. “How’ve you been?” Nervous, Adelaide adjusted her glasses and tucked her hair behind her ears. It wasn’t everyday a Congressman’s assistant spoke to a lowly paralegal at Capitol Hill.
