Six Sentence Sunday

And Beth again:

“Yeah, babe, just a wrong number.”

He groaned. “Did someone get your number mixed up with Emily’s again?”

This isn't Emily, I wrote. “I guess so.”

“When are you going to take her off your phone plan?” Dalton looked up at me with his lovely green eyes, shadowed by sleep.

Poor Beth. I feel bad for her where her story is going. lol

I'm not sure what's happening here, but I'd read on just to hear more from the green eyed guy with sleep shadows. And to see how badly you plan to tormet Beth.

Oh the things our characters have to endure, lol. Looking forward to reading more.

Hmmm. A little sexty-texty? Case of the wrong number? Guess I'll have to wait and see. Great six.

This story still has me intrugued as to what she's going to do.

The worse you feel about what you're putting your characters through, the better the story from the reader's POV. This is intriguing.

Undercurrents run deep here. Very somber six.

She has so many secrets she's hiding. I wonder if the stress of keeping them all will make her slip. Nice six!

Nice. I like the interplay between what's said and unsaid.

I wonder who she's trying to protect, herself, him, or Emily. (Ah, character torture. Is there anything better? Or worse?)

I'm a little confused as to what is going on, but Dalton's eyes sound enticing.

Very intriguing. It's so unnerving to be awakened with a phone call or text message! I don't know what's happening here, but it can't be good.
BTW, thanks for commenting on my blog.
