Blog Hop Stop!

Welcome to the blog once more! Today, I'm hosting Stacey Kennedy, one of the fabulous authors in the Madame Eves' 1NS anthology. Without further ado, here she is!

Please tell the readers a little about yourself:

Stacey Kennedy’s novels are lighthearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again. But within the stories you’ll find fast paced action, life threatening moments and a big bad villain that needs to be destroyed. Her urban fantasy/paranormal and erotic romance series have hit Amazon Kindle and All Romance Ebooks Bestseller lists. If she isn’t plugging away at her next novel, tending to her two little ones, she’s got her nose deep in a good book. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband.

How about your latest release?

Madame Eve’s 1NightStand service has brought together Blake and Taryn on a cold Christmas Eve at the Castillo Lodge. The two will set out on an adventure of pain and pleasure surrounded by Alaskan snow-capped mountains and nestled in a warm country lodge. But as the night develops, Taryn discovers it’s not Christmas presents that will surprise her but instead the very man who mastered her through a night of intense BDSM.

WARNING- This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: INTENSE BDSM theme and elements.

What was your primary inspiration for this book?

The heroine Taryn. I fell in love with her while writing Takedown and Somewhere in Between, and I knew right then and there that I would eventually write her story. She’s a strong woman and that made for a perfect BDSM story.

Do you have any muses?

Yes, one really annoying one who won’t leave me alone and gives me hundreds of ideas for stories, demanding I write them, but always forgets that I have no time!

Do you control your characters or do they flog you into shape?

I have no control over anything. When I first started writing I fought it and tried to keep in control, but after a while, I gave up knowing it was pointless. My characters always take over and I’ve realized that they’re always right. I trust in them and they have never disappointed me.

When you write, is there a special routine you follow?

Coffee. I need it. I love it. I can’t write without it. As long as I have a cup of coffee with me, everything is right with the world when I’m writing.

If you could be one animal, person, or at a place for a day what/who/where would it be?

I’d be Keri Arthur. I’d love to spend one day in her mind when she is writing a story!

Five random facts about you:

  •     I   never refill ice cube trays. Drives my husband nuts.
  •     I'm addicted to the show Supernatural.
  •     I love chocolate…and lots of it!
  •     Urban fantasy/paranormal romance is my favorite genre to write and read in.
  •     I’m coming to realize that I might be a workaholic.

Are you working on any new releases later this year?

I don’t have anything else coming out this year, but next year I have tons of new releases. Two of my favorite series, Supernaturally Kissed and Werewolves Be Damned, both come out in early 2012. I can hardly wait and am counting down the days!

Anything else you’d like to say?

As always, just a big thanks for all the support I receive on a daily basis. It’s a very special thing when a reader tells you they love your characters as much as you do!
